Artist Sheila Miles: Ranch • Gallery Exhibit

Artist Sheila Miles is the featured artist at kind of a small array. A humble space for art, poetry, and music, this art gallery is in Magdalena, New Mexico.

Long a part of the Santa Fe and Montana art scenes, artist Sheila Miles now makes her home in Oracle, Arizona. As a result, her latest paintings are based on time spent on ranches near her new home. We see her characteristic use of light and shadow, abstraction, and form. Certainly, these elements come together to create something magical.

The exhibit opens on Saturday, June 12, 2021, the day of Magdalena’s Frontier Festival. It will continue through the summer.

During the Festival, you can visit the gallery during regular and special hours. So, visit whenever you want—in the morning (9–11), in the afternoon (2–5), and again in the evening (6–8).

Fine Art by Sheila Miles Appears in Feverdream Magazine!

Art by Sheila Miles appears in FeverDream Magazine, the work of collectors. Publishing thrice per year, this publication is an online and print journal.

For those who are unfamiliar with the publication, we can say that the magazine aims to show off what the Treasure State of Montana creates. To explain, FeverDream Magazine is the work of collectors.

Miles’ piece, Chair in the Snow, adorns the cover. Even more, a 7-page spread featuring an interview with Sheila Miles and six more of her works of art appears inside.

Check it out! You’ll be glad you did.
